Latinas Chingonas (past project)

Latinas Chingonas is an inspiring initiative that highlighted the remarkable achievements of Latina women across South Carolina. This collaborative project was produced in 2018 and brought together artists and community-focused Latina women, showcasing a diverse range of professions, ages, and geographical backgrounds. What unites these women is their unwavering commitment to community development and social justice. They serve as role models, shaping the future of our communities and standing as beacons for the next generation of leaders.

Our Latinas Chingonas are not defined by their job titles but by their impactful community service, making them recognizable figures in their fields. They are at the forefront of our social movement, advocating for social and economic justice. Through this project, we aim to increase awareness of Latina leadership and inspire young girls to envision themselves in similar roles.
