Artist of the Month: Karla Hernandez

Karla Hernandez is a singer, songwriter, and multifaceted artist born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. After migrating to the United States, she found success in the Latin music and dance scene in 2025 with bachata hits like “Un Puro” and “Otra Canción.” As a bilingual singer and Latin dance instructor, Karla shares her passion for Latin culture through both her music and teaching, inspiring others with her vibrant energy and creativity.

In addition to her musical achievements, Karla is also a local film director and photographer. She launched her photography brand, Kazteca, in 2023, bringing a unique perspective shaped by her immigrant roots and deep love for her community. Her hit single “Aladin” became a symbol of her musical diversity and significantly boosted her popularity across platforms.

Based in Columbia, South Carolina, Karla continues to make waves in the music and arts scenes, pushing boundaries and exploring new creative horizons.
